I didn’t realize a substantial percentage of people found the Brougham cool. Here’s a breakdown of my opinion, not that anyone cars.

I’ll agree with that, mostly because this one’s got a metal top and dog dish wheels and is in good shape.

We rented one in Orlando in 89, my father who is of that type of caddy age bracket, hated it. Yet he had an Oldsmobile Diesel Wagon at the time. Yes it was brown. I loved the corduroy upholstery in that Oldsmobile

If you want an Allante, get a 1993. It’s the only version of the series that’s worth even half a damn. But have fun with that idiotic convertible top mechanism.

You’re right. Only the highest esteem is due an HT4100 equipped , cut-up E-body that was flown around the world twice, cost more than an SL but was worse in every way , and had a manual convertible top so balky, it took GM 6 years of annual refinements to fix it and it sti ll didn’t work right.

My apologies.
